Mindfulness meditation is a way of creating space within your mind to allow relaxation and healing to take place. We are constantly “doing” very rarely taking the time to just “be”. When we do create space amazing things can come into it.
There have been 100’s of scientific papers on aspects of clinical applications of mindfulness and the number is set to grow as more and more G.P.s Psychotherapists and others concerned with mental health and wellbeing become involved.
Mindfulness is particularly helpful for anxiety and depression though has been proven to help with many health conditions even physical ones but especially where stress related.
